Force TA
The newest car from Force is the TA which made its debut in 2017.
It is a replacement for the Force PT (which is still winning and setting FTDs) and is intended to provide a cost effective entry level choice.
The design process has built on the experience gained from the development of the PC and WH.
It features a fully autoclaved carbon tub, built to F1 standards by SPA Design, a single rear bulkhead, improved aero (wings and side pods) and the latest in modern computer aided suspension design.
The Suspension geometry is focused on reducing input loads to wishbones and inboard structure by considering outboard vertical, lateral, and longitudinal offsets (upright geometry – mechanical trail, scrub radius, spindle length - high camber and toe stiffness), within packaging limits of components and practicality of manufacture."
The TA was initially developed for the 1100cc and 1600cc classes with engines from Suzuki and Kawasaki, but more recently has been fitted with V6 and V8 power plants.
In its first few seasons the Force TA had considerable success, scoring points in the both the British Hillclimb and Sprint championship. In following seasons regular appearances have been made in British & Midland Hillclimb Run Offs and multiple Run Off wins in the British Sprint Championship along with many FTDs. With more and more TA chassis appearing in competition 2024 saw the marque's most notable success to date, winning the Motorsport UK British Sprint championship with Chris Jones' 1.0 Force TA after a dominant performance in the second half of the season,
